"Beginning" explores the realm of the abandoned Istana Woodneuk since it was burnt down, due to a faulty wiring in 1907. As nature’s growth overcomes both the exterior and the interior of the Istana, the rich culture and history from the Sultan of Abu Bakar (Johor) that used to reside in that house is slowly decomposed.
