Nicknamed Spoon, she freelances as a Director and Producer. In her directing career, she has helmed nine narrative short films and a documentary short, which have been screened on film festivals and online media. Her latest short films “Sylvia” and "Pa" are released and available on Viddsee. Career Highlights In 2012, she directed “Ruslan”, her documentary short, which was screened in the 6th Singapore Indie Documentary Fest and gained exposure on Straits Time Life, SINdie Reviews, and positive feedback from viewers through Viddsee film platform. Her other two narrative films, “Bu Tong” (2014) and “First Love” (2014) also went on-screen in the 6th Singapore Short Films Award and Beijing Film Academy Awards. Her film “First Love” (2014) was also awarded Akanga Film Asia Prize for its scriptwriting, Cathay Organization Film Prize and leading her to be awarded Shaw Foundation Silver Medal & Prize for the Silver Medalist Candidate in most outstanding graduate. Her more recents clinch includes Best Editing for Sylvia in NYFA, and Best Screenplay and People's Choice Award for Pa in Shorties International Film Festival. She has just completed a Viddsee Original series, "Way Back When" as a Director and Showrunner. Sabrina believes that there are always stories to be told and hopes to convey it to the audience in a thoughtful perspective. She is always up for new challenges and eager for collaborations to kickstart the right ideas for the right purposes.
