Joy Lee {{ getUser.tag }}

Joy Lee is an independent filmmaker who loves her chicken rice as much as she is obsessed with her cameras. In 2012, her award-winning documentary film, “That’s WICKED!” world-premiered in the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA). She creates documentaries for NGOs, NPOs, government organisations and broadcasters. Her vast experience in the film industry snagged her a job at Fuelfor where she, through the use of film, helped the team share information on healthcare and wellbeing with the public at large. In 2015, she worked with Fuelfor and the National Council of Social Services to create films under the project title 'Who Cares?' to show the daily struggles and battles caregivers in Singapore face. The project was awarded the prestigious President's Design Award in July 2018. She sees people as stories and she thinks that the only thing better than a good story is an great story. And, less is always more.
