"The Long Haul": Should we have it all figured out? Or just enjoy the ride?

"You suppose you are the lock on the door, but you are the key that opens it." Rumi

Everyone has been confused with their paths in life and the choices that they make.

But I think the most important thing is how we choose to react to it, either we choose to let that confusion stop us or turn it into something that inspires us.

This short film "The Long Haul" tells the story of Erik who's getting anxious now that his departure to start a Master's degree in New York is approaching. He has to make a big decision whether or not to pursue his dream, even though it would mean leaving behind some things, and some people, that matter to him.

"The Long Haul" is a meditation on the quarter life crisis that I am going through. Although there may be another crisis in the future, this film will be a reminder for me and hopefully other people to keep finding/making ways to do what they love.

Although this film is very personal, I am sure that everyone can enjoy and relate to it, as we have all experienced the dilemma that my main character Erik goes through.

WATCH IT NOW on Viddsee. And let's enjoy this 'long haul' together :)
