Lao Filmmakers Fund | LanXang Shorts

Both the Lao Filmmakers Fund and LanXang Shorts work to support the development of the Lao domestic film industry.

A project of Blue Chair — formerly known as the Luang Prabang Film Festival — the Lao Filmmakers Fund (LFF) has since 2013 annually raised funds to grant directly to Lao film projects. Over its first ten years, LFF has supported dozens of Lao film projects.

Based in Vientiane, LanXang Shorts is a community organization presenting film screenings, an annual Lao short film competition, and networking opportunities for young filmmakers.
